The Bluffton Police Department is hosting its fifth annual Safety Spooktacular October 24 at Oscar Frazier Park from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Residents of all ages are invited to join Bluffton’s first responders for trunk-or-treating, music, and family fun while meeting the community partners who work together to keep everyone safe.
This free community event is all about Halloween fun and safety. It’s a chance to meet the local agencies and organizations that work together every day to keep Bluffton safe. Each group will share helpful safety tips—and plenty of Halloween candy, too. Bluffton police officers will even be at the grill, serving up free hot dogs and handing out light-up safety necklaces while supplies last.
*New this year*: Instead of a costume contest, the Town is putting the creativity challenge on the other side of the table. In past years, Bluffton’s residents have shown up with costumes so competitively creative that there simply weren’t enough awards to go around!
This year, the spotlight shifts to the booths. Each participating organization has been challenged to deck out its table in its most imaginative Halloween décor. Kids will get to be the judges—voting for their favorite by dropping tickets into voting buckets. The booth with the most tickets will take home the 2025 Kids’ Choice Award!
